How do I enter a contest?

How can I participate in a PF Contest?
To participate in a PF Contest (Open to all players - even if you do not have land), you will need to visit a PF Town. Click on the PF Towns icon on the top navigation bar to go to a city. There, locate the PF Contest Building, on the left-hand side (or click on the Contests link). When you are at the Contests Main Page click on [Current Contests], you will then be able to choose which ever contest you want to participate in. Any contests that you do enter will have the item name in bold for easier tracking. If you try to submit a guess combination that has already been picked, you will be notified of this and given a chance to resubmit a new combination. If you win, it will announce it after the contest is over and you can click [Collect]. You will NOT receive an event notice if you win, you will just have to check back. To view previous winners click on [Expired Contests].

How do I create a PF Contest?
To create a contest, first off make sure that you have the item you want to use in the contest in your backpack. Go to the PF Contest Building located on the left side of your city and click [Create Contest]. Simply click on the item you wish to enter into the contests, and it will be added. You will then be able to select the type of contest you want to host (Contest types are explained further down this article).

The contest will stay up for citizens to play for 30-35 minutes. If no one wins, you can go back and click [Collect Items] to get your items back.

You can only create one contest at a time. The lowest item you can enter in a PF Contest must have a resale price of at least 2000pbs. There is currently no maximum price limit, so you can enter any item that you want no matter how costly the item is. There are 5 types of contests.

Rather than having dice, cards, color match and shape shift from the old contests system, it's now Very Easy, Easy, Medium, Hard and Crazy. Participants need to select the correct four symbols in the correct order. Difficulty level determines how many symbols they have to choose from to accomplish this. There are 5 types of contests: Very Easy, Easy, Medium, Hard and Crazy. Very Easy - Only available on City Contests Easy - City and Federation Contests only Medium - City, Federation and Site Contests Hard/Crazy - City, Federation and Site Contests

Who can enter in what contests and other information? City - Anyone in your city can participate for a fee set by your Mayor. Federation - Anyone whom owns property in a PF Town can participate for a fee of 100 PBs. Site/Global - Anyone on Powerpets can participate for a fee of 250 PBs. If someone from your city participates in your contest, only your city treasury will go up. The participant will pay the amount set by your mayor for the contest benefit.
If someone from another city participates, your city treasury will go up, and you are eligible for a cash bonus ($100 PB - your city benefit cost). The participant will pay $100 PB.
If someone who doesn't own land participates, your city treasury will go up and you are eligible for a cash bonus of $250 PB - your city benefit cost. The participant will pay $250 PB.
