Randy is the feline in charge of the Library in New Barkston, where there are free books available on the history of the town. He also possesses a number of valuable books called Petpedias and Healthpedias, but these are not in the borrowing section. The Librarian feels that these books are far too important to be given out to anyone who wants them. These Pedias must be earned.

Once you've started Randy's quest, he will ask you for some random items. Return those items back to him and right away he will give you one of his valuable Pet or HealthPedias.
